Q-Are Le Blanc Consulting Programs different from the other Programs I have been introduced to? 
A- Yes, Le Blanc Consulting Provides wrap around supportive services by highly educated and trained professionals. Our program utilizes the newest forms of technology.

Eligibility
Q- Can I use the Le Blanc Consulting programs if I don’t live in Alameda or Contra Costa County?
A- You must be a resident of  Contra Costa County or Alameda County to be eligible.

Q-Can I use the LeBlanc Consulting programs outside of  Alameda or Contra Costa County?
A-Yes, so long as you are PRE-Approved by your RC Social Worker, CPS, and Le Blanc Consulting to be determined during the eligibility process.

Q-If I already use Le Blanc Consulting, can I also use the another one of it's programs?
A-All of Le Blanc Consulting programs are operated by Le Blanc Consulting, but are independent programs. You may be eligible for one, or the other, or both.

Q-Do I have to have a disability to qualify?
A-If you are Parent or Legal Guardian, you do not need to have a disability to qualify but must explain conditions you are experiencing that makes independent parenting difficult. If you are disabled you must be eligible for Regional Center Services or Child Protective Services; to qualify for Regional Center Service or Child Protective Services you must contact the Regional Center or Child Protective Service in your local area.

Q- Is there an age requirement to qualify?
A-No age requirement; however as stated above, if you are a Regional Center or Child Protective Services Client there are additional eligibility requirements.

FUNDING
Q-Is there an income requirement to qualify?
A- No income requirement. 

Q-How is Le Blanc Consulting's programs funded and operated? 
A- Each program is sponsored and registered by one of our Community Partners operated by trained professionals.

Q-Can my LeBlanc Consulting staff receive tips, money or gifts from me? 
A-Under NO Circumstances can a LeBlanc Consulting Staff Receive tips, money or other gifts from you. We appreciate the kind thoughts of sentiment, however, allowing us to provide services for you is enough to show that you care. 

Q-Can my Le Blanc Consulting be reimbursed when they provide services for me?
A-Staff members can only be reimbursed for services after services have been rendered and that are PRE-Approved by RC, CPS or LeBlanc Consulting Staff. 

Q- Why is there a waitlist for services? 

A- Due to multiple request for services, individuals determined eligible for the programs may be placed on a waitlist for services. The waitlist is designed to ensure that individuals who are most in need of services are able to receive them in a timely manner. The information you provide during the application and assessment process will be used to determine how soon services can start. Individuals whose ability is significantly impacted by their disability and who have the most service needs, receive priority for services. Other individuals may be placed on a waitlist.

Q-Will my LeBlanc Consulting Staff be reimbursed for the distance they drive?
A-Yes; as stated above, services must be PRE-approved by RC, CPS and LeBlanc Consulting Management. However at no times are to pay your worker for assistance. We are NOT a transportation agency. If you need transportation assistance for services that are not within the scope of Le Blanc Consulting. We will provide a referral to one of our community partners that provide transportation services.
Q- What do I need to have for my first appointment? 
A- Listed bellow are some excellent examples of what to bring or have available at the first appointments
  • Your ID (bring ONE of the following)
    • Driver's license
    • Birth certificate (for ALL children)
    • Hospital certificate of birth
    • State issued non-drivers' ID card
    • Marriage certificate with date of birth
    • US passport
    • Immigration or Naturalization certificate
    • Medicaid card
  • Proof of US Citizenship or Legal Residence for each person in household who wants services including the following:
    • Social Security card or number
    • Immunizations or shot records for all children
    • School information for all children
    • Most recent IEP from the school
    • Most recent Psychological and Behavioral Assessment
    • Court Documents if you have a pending or open CPS case 

LeBlanc Consulting 
Myths and Facts 
MYTH: Having services with Le Blanc Consulting will disrupt my other services.
FACT: Having Services with Le Blanc Consulting does NOT interrupt other services with other providers. However, Le Blanc Consulting staff can not provide services at the same time of day as other service provider. LeBlanc Consulting loves to work side by side with other services providers to assure all clients are getting quality services.
MYTH: Le Blanc Consulting is Child Protective Services
FACT: Le Blanc Consulting is NOT child protective services. We are not providing services to come and take your children away, however, Le Blanc Consulting staff members are Mandated Child Protective Service Reporters as are all services providers, teachers, and doctors.

MYTH: Le Blanc Consulting Provides Transportation
FACT: Le Blanc Consulting does NOT provide transportation we are not a transportation agency, however, we are partnered with agencies that we can refer clients to if they need transportation.

MYTH: I will have to pay for Le Blanc Consulting out of my pocket
FACT: Clients do NOT have to pay for Le Blanc Consulting out of their pocket and under no circumstances should a worker handle money provided by or for a client.
